My Name is Tom Echlin, I am an interdisciplinary artist from North Wales who has an MA in Interdisciplinary Art Practice. My creative practice spans painting, sculpting, scale modelling, soundscapes, 3D rendering and animation. My recent focus revolves around the concept of hauntology, which challenges traditional views of the past as a linear timeline, and instead composite the past as a haunting presence that disrupts the present.

My work is inspired from real life events or experiences which I convey into a spectral quality, combining the material world with ghostly ethereal elements. These pieces have been described as atmospheric, immersive and deeply rooted in exploring the intersection of memory, history and haunting presences. 

To accompany my work I create soundscapes which feature slow beats, found sound and distant echoes of what sounds like a lost song.
